Beautiful Homes for Real Life
Interior designer, educator, and founder of Nichole McKune Designs. Helping you create a calm, timeless home that supports the life you actually live.

Hi, I’m Nichole
II believe your home should make everyday life feel better.
As a wife, mother, and designer, I understand how much life unfolds inside a home. The rushed mornings, after-school chaos, quiet evenings, family dinners, celebrations, and ordinary moments in between.
For years, I thought creating a beautiful home was mostly about choosing the right furniture, finishes, and decor. But through raising a family, renovating homes, and building my design business, I came to understand something much deeper.
A beautiful home isn’t just something you look at. It’s something you feel.
It should welcome you at the end of a long day. It should make daily routines feel a little easier. It should reflect your story, support your family, and give you the space to breathe.
That belief is at the heart of everything I create.
why i do this
Because everyone deserves a home that feels like peace.
We’ve all experienced it – that feeling of walking into a space that immedietly puts you at ease.
But for many women, home doens’t always feel that way.
Instead, it can feel like unfinished projects, overflowing surfaces, decision fatigue, and rooms that never quite come together.
I believe your home can feel different.
Not because it has to be perfect, but because it has been designed intentionally.
MY PHILOSOPHY
Beautiful homes begin with intentional living.
I don’t believe creating a beautiful home starts with buying more furniture or following the latest trends.
It starts by slowing down.
By understanding how you want your home to feel.
By creating spaces that support your routines, reflect your story, and make everyday life a little easier.
When those pieces come together, your home naturally becomes more beautiful – not because it’s perfect, but because it was created with intention.
That belief guides every recommendation I make, every room I design, and every piece of content I share.
